New Store - New Blends
Welcome to our new home!
A note about our Fusion yarn bases:
We are excited to share some new bases for our Worsted/DK Weight Fusion yarns! As you know Fusion contains a mixture of textures, and we think our new bases are fabulous (not to mention soft and pretty)!
The new yarns will work up the same, and appear substantially the same. The main differences that long time users of Fusion may notice is that the fuzzy alpaca blend, while still fuzzy and soft, now has a beautiful, shimmery pima cotton core. The small loop boucle alpaca and bamboo blend is now an alpaca blended with a small amount of polyamide. It’s super soft and fluffy, and takes dye in darker tones.
Presently we are transitioning our stock from the original bases to the new ones, and all of the Fusion 250 and Fusion 500 skeins are ready and available in the new bases. Through this winter and spring we will be getting the Fusion 750 and 1000 skeins dyed and photographed, though as of now you will see that most of the photos show the original bases.
Which one will you get in an order? It depends on what we have left, and for a limited time you can tell us if you have a preference and we’ll do our best to accommodate it. That said, I only have a few cones left of the original bases, and when they are gone they are gone!

Regarding winding (put on a terms and conditions page or?)
Skein winding:
We are not a local yarn shop in which staff have down time in between customers to wind skeins into balls. As such, we must charge a fee for winding. This fee will generally be $1.00 per 100 yards, so that a Fusion 250 bundle will cost $2.50, a Fusion 500 will be $5.00, and so on. Thank-you for understanding
